About Us

The TD Summer Reading Club is Canada's largest free reading program! Libraries across the country participate in this program providing activities for children in Kindergarten to Grade 6.  We want to help children keep up with literacy over the summer months, we encourage both parents and their children to participate in a summer reading challenge.

This year our program will begin July 3rd and run until the end of August. The theme is "Feed your Passions." This summer we will help children explore their passion and share them with other participants in the club!

We will have a new theme each week exploring different interests, with each week children will participate crafts, games, story time, as well as a weekly reading log where they can track their reading they do at home. We provide incentives for the children to read on their own or with a parent in their free time, as well as give them the opportunity to read books that correlate with each weeks theme.
